What Nick likes best about doing home inspections is working with people along with teaching them the ins and outs of their home.  He wants it to be more than just a home inspection, but also a learning experience that they can grow on for years to come.

Paul Fitzpatrick, Inspector

Paul has been with Amerispec over 5 years.  Paul has over 20 years in the home warranty industry, and is the inspector that covers the north and  west sections of IA, allowing us to partner with a large area of Realtors and home buyers.

Paul’s intent when performing an inspection, is to make it mutually beneficial between the buyers and the Realtors on both sides of the transactions.
“The ultimate goal of the home inspection is to show the state the home is in.  The inspection report then becomes a road map on how to proceed.   Although sometimes, there are things that need fixed to proceed with the sale, the norm is that the report provides the new home buyers with a list of things they know are existing .  This way there are no surprises down the road after they move in. After the inspection, the buyers can then be comfortable in their decision to purchase the home.  Amerispec needs to partner with all parties to help the sale, as that is the end goal. “

In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children golfing, traveling and spending time with friends.
